Fun Days for the Young at Heart
Hi all. Well, what a wonderful 3 days we had at the fun days, much laughter, singing and joy. It started on Monday with tea and biscuits, as did every fun day morning, then on to the nitty gritty. Board games. Who knew that our fun dayers were so competitive? There were cheers of YEAH. Groans of OH NO, which I am sure could have been heard in the village. At 12.30 a light lunch of egg, ham and cheese sandwiches were served, along with salad and crisps, which was very well received. The afternoon...

And incredibly the marathon sponsored cycle / run raised over £5,600 in aid of the four memory cafes. That’s an incredible help to t...

We walked through the town with German friends, members of the Catholic Church and some Anglicans and when we looked back there were over 80 of us walking so not an insignificant witness made better when Father John dashed ou...

Does the UK Government “Do God”?
An independent review has declared that life in the UK would be very different indeed were it not for the huge contribution made by people of faith and leaders of worship. It says: "imagine if churches and other places of worship removed their time, money and creativity from public life? What would happen to Foodbanks or parent and toddler groups? What about the army of volunteer chaplains in prisons, hospitals, universities? What about those volunteers who faithfully visit the sick or the...
