A Special Word of Thanks to all the Team On Friday Coffee and on Saturday Community Coffees

You are so fabulous doing the regular coffee mornings each a Friday to sometimes up to 45 people! A great success and good to meet so many there. And great tea cakes and cards!

And thank you to the team who do Community Cafe with always those lovely cakes and to give proceeds to charity – marvellous. Not forgetting the Soup Lunch each month, and the Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship and the Memory Cafe – all of which have a splendid team of volunteers and bakers! and many people to help and encourage.

Thank you to the kind people who set up rooms and especially to Andy Morley Tyson who sets up the heavy tables which is a great help as well as the Bookstall which is well used.

And all of this alongside Little Angels under Jan’s leadership with a kitchen crew and a registering person each time who care for so many mums and dads as well as their children. Bless you. At the other end is the Youth Group organised by Mark Greenhalgh who also takes them on Duke of Edinburgh badges and outings tramping over hills. Terrific stuff for teenagers.

Now let’s all get excited for our Carnival float and the superb artwork done by gifted painters and designers – well done you folks: Chris, Geoff, Rod and his class. We look forward to July Carnival!
