Christmas Day

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve saw us getting more chairs In! We had 82 come for Carols by Candlelight and were so thrilled that many families brought their teenagers and young people to join in. It was quite a reunion with the Fyall family including Matthew joining in as well! Excellent videos thanks to our IT gang who delivered flawless videos of the John Lewis advert for Action for Children which helped people realise how important fostering and adopting are. Hot Chocolate Van and Christingle
It was surprisingly fine for the free hot chocolate van, though chilly, but we crammed hot chocolate, whipped cream and marshmallows into cups from the specialist Henri van who worked non stop giving out free to over 72 kids and parents.Then we had a super Christingle and enjoyed listening to ‘Assembly Bangers ‘ with Jason Manford in aid of Foodbanks which lots of Mums and Dads knew. Radcliffe Carnival 2022
Huge thank you for the float and terrific outfits. A special thanks to Gwyn who organised the carnival, both float and cake stall, and made sure that on this great occasion the Methodist Church was well represented.The cakes went well – like hot cakes on a very hot day! Radcliffe Methodist Youth Group Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Centre
On Monday, 3rd January 2022 some 30 Duke of Edinburgh’s Award participants plus parents and families came together (by invitation only to accord with relevant Covid restrictions) in the Radcliffe-on-Trent Methodist Church to receive either Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards.
