Church Anniversary 2024

On Sunday 13^th October, we had a Chapel Anniversary service conducted by Naomi. Part of the service included a period where anybody that wanted to, could talk about how the Chapel had been part of their lives. This included reminiscences about marriages, anniversary parties, meeting new friends, many different church groups, carnival fun and much more. This was extremely enjoyable and poignant, hearing all the touching memories of peoples’ experiences of the church.

After the service we had a “Bring and Share” Lunch in the School room. The food provided was      exceptional! Quiches, sausage rolls, an array of cheeses and hams, crisps, home-made salads, pork pie, home-made cakes and biscuits (peanut butter cookies my favourite!) all washed down with copious amounts of tea and coffee! I for one was more than suitably fed and had to postpone our Sunday Lunch for another day!

Thank You to Ann, Hilary, Jan and all the kitchen volunteers that helped set the room up on Saturday, the preparation on Sunday and the clear up afterwards. This wouldn’t have been possible without them.
