Christmas Day
Christmas Day was joyous with so many at church and another great video this time from the Methodist church ‘Room for all this Christmas’ so we celebrated Jesus coming amongst us big time. Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve saw us getting more chairs In! We had 82 come for Carols by Candlelight and were so thrilled that many families brought their teenagers and young people to join in. It was quite a reunion with the Fyall family including Matthew joining in as well! Excellent videos thanks to our IT gang who delivered flawless videos of the John Lewis advert for Action for Children which helped people realise how important fostering and adopting are. Hot Chocolate Van and Christingle
It was surprisingly fine for the free hot chocolate van, though chilly, but we crammed hot chocolate, whipped cream and marshmallows into cups from the specialist Henri van who worked non stop giving out free to over 72 kids and parents.Then we had a super Christingle and enjoyed listening to ‘Assembly Bangers ‘ with Jason Manford in aid of Foodbanks which lots of Mums and Dads knew.
