Harvest Festival Lunch- 15th September 2024

On Sunday 15^th September, a Harvest Festival meal was provided for 40 people after the morning service with Naomi. A ploughman’s lunch was made by the volunteers (with 3 cheeses!) and Vienetta and fruit for dessert washed down with tea and coffee. There was fun and chatter had by all and the plates came back clean which is a good sign!

Thank you to everybody who came, the volunteers who helped prepare and serve the meals and a special thanks to Hilary Greenhalgh for organising this grand occasion in the church calendar.

Events like this take a lot of organising but really brings the Church community together and shows what we can do when we bring the whole Church together as one big family! All in all it was a big success and here’s to the next big Church event!
