Christingle and Hot Chocolate 2024

Little Angels Toddler Group held it’s now regular Christingle Service on Friday 20th December. Children of all ages together with parents, grandparents and many from the community gathered as the schools broke up for the Christmas holidays.

They were welcomed with hot drinks and homemade cookies before gathering in the Church for the Christingle Service led by Naomi. Hymns were sung enthusiastically and Naomi told the Nativity story and the meaning behind the Christingle. Fun was then had by all as the children and adults created their own Christingle. Everyone gathered around the edge of the Worship space as the lights were dimmed and candles lit one from another.

It was really moving as the lights spread round the Church and the children’s faces shone in the   candlelight as we sung Away in a Manger. This was truly the start of Christmas.
